Misfits – Series 2 is coming so soon

There are those things you love, and those things you hate.

This programme however, I worship. This is like the ‘Transformers’ of TV programmes. We all thoughts ‘Skins’ was great when it launched, but this ! this is a next level. Bafta award winning Misfits, follows the life of a group of “chavs” who have been given superpowers due to a freak storm. Many people reading this will think I am extremely late in posting this, as the first oringinal episode actually aired all the way back in late 2009. Even though I watch TV for hours upon hours; even if it is on in the background, I somehow unbelievably missed the entire series, and it was not until Channel 4 started airing the first series recently, that I knew about this. And now im HOOKED!

Every character; but Nathan, know what there power is, it is not until the last episode we find out that Nathans power is ‘Immortality’ whilst he is buried 6 feet under ground. How long will it take for Kelly to visit him and hear his thoughts? And will Nathan be awake when she does?

The second series has already been commissioned and is due to air this November; only 3 months from now! This is without doubt the best drama on television, since sliced bread.

Robbie Williams & Take That reform !

News like this is interesting regardless of whether you like or listen to ‘Take That’ or ‘Robbie Williams’. One of the most successful UK boy bands and the great solo man himself have reformed for a reported £50million album and tour and will last at least a year.

The band members could each earn £10million from the reunion.

“The Social Network” Movie Trailer – Facebook The Movie

This is by far the most ingenious movie to ever be made. Will you “like” it. Its a subject that many people may see as a cliche, but personally, i cannot wait for this movie. I dont know if its because the ‘geek’ that I am, but 3 months until it is released is already too long to wait. The movie is based upon how ‘Facebook’ started from its humble beginnings, and how it propelled forwards to the international phenomenon that it is today. ‘Jesse Eisenberg’ who played the main character in ‘ZombieLand’, plays the main role of ‘Mark Zuckerberg’; the co-founder of Facebook, whilst ‘Justin Timberlake’ plays the co-founder of ‘Napster’; which operated between June 1999 and July 2001, until it was declared bankrupt.

Facebook is known by millions and millions of users, and although the movie is not endorsed by Facebook themselves, an audience of 400 million active users on Facebook, times (x) by an average £5.00 cinema ticket, makes a very big number.

I cannot wait for this movie to be released, and think its going to involve quite a few trips to my almost ‘daily’ use of my local cinema. ‘The Social Network is scheduled for release this October 2010. Don’t miss it !
